The drive to Rome was a long one, but filled with awesome sites!!! It took us 11 hours to make the trip and about $250 in gas!! I was almost $100 per fill up! Europe gas prices are not very friendly, but it was cheaper then flying. And some quality family time to boot, who can argue with that?! =)

Our first Stop for gas |

Beautiful Church along the way |
The Alps were so beautiful! |
Lime Trees... I knew what these were because of Farmville! lol |
All along the way, we would see a castle, or castle ruins sitting high up on a mountain, and down in the valley below would be a community! |
We saw a lot of farm lands. Every inch of ground was put to use. |
We think these are hops plants. We saw them while Jake's dad was here and they were just little things, barely off the ground, but look at them now! |
It was HOT HOT! |
We went through 59 tunnels on the way there, of which I did 54 of! The longest was 2,254 meters, which is 1.4 miles! I was so close to having a panic attack, but did it! |
This was the toll we had to pay to get into the city, that's $67.60 American dollars! |
Finally in Roma, Italy |
